NTT DATA announced that the Japanese IT company will provide a regional bank, Shizuoka bank with Japan’s first API link service, a service connecting FinTech service and internet bank, from April, 2016.
NTT DATA’s internet banking service, AnserParaSOL® will collaborate with Japanese FinTech companies, Money Forward and freee and develop the new API link service to realize enhanced convenience and safety in FinTech.
Shizuoka Bank will be the first user of the API link service. The bank will work on introducing Money Forward’s automated housekeeping book and personal money management service. This development allows the bank’s customers to check their account activities statement and account balance without giving ID and password of their internet account when they use Money Forward.
NTT DATA says in the press release, the company will expand the API service to more FinTech firms and financial companies, and support and promote a variety of collaboration between FinTech and financial companies.
