ROBOFUND, Crowdcredit, Heiwa Real Estate and Thomson Reuters Markets announced that the 4 companies agreed to provide a venue where people can output their FinTech ideas for asset management, and create a community through hackathon in Tokyo.

They aim to strengthen and promote Tokyo’s presence among global financial market by accelerating the creation of a center for investment-related people and financial ventures both foreign and domestic.

At an upcoming hackathon they will hold, IBM Japan will join as a technology supporter and provide IBM’s development environment such as Bluemix and Global Enterpreneur Program which support startups.

Following an orientation meeting on November 22, 2016, an ideathon will be held on December 20, 2016, and the hackathon will take place on January 29, 2017.

In addition, with the hackathon to be held, a community with an aim of the integration of asset management and engineering, “Asset Mnagement FinTech Study Group” will be turned into a general incorporated association.
