On August, 26, 2016, a Japanese regional bank, the Ashikaga Bank has formed a business alliance with CyberAgent Group’s CyberAgent Crowd Funding, Inc. which operates “Makuake”, a crowd funding portal site.

Through this partnership, the Bank will introduce the Makuake to local business operators to provide them with new business opportunities such as creating products/services and new ways of raising funds, and support for increasing customers, and new ways of raising funds. The bank aims to strengthen its support for regional development.

Makuake is one of the largest crowdfunding sites in Japan. By collaboration with a blog-based service “Ameba” with 40 million user members powered by CyberAgent, it can reach a lot of people.
