A blockchain venture, Keychain Pte. Ltd.(headquartered in Singapore, operation center located in Tokyo) was selected as a finalist of FinTech venture for the 8th BBVA OPEN TALENT CHALLENGE 2016 organized by a global bank, BBVA. BBVA is known as an active bank for FinTech investment and partnership in Europe and the United States as the bank has invested to over 28 billion JPY to FinTech fund this year.

The BBVA OPEN TALENT CHALLENGE explores and seeks innovative technological projects related to FinTech as well as projects affecting the industry that can influence its evolution in the transformation process. 2 applicant companies from each region (Europe, Latin America and USA and the rest of the world) are selected as winners.

The 8th edition of BBVA event received over 1200 applications from 77 countries and only 56 companies were selected as the finalists. The finals will take place on September 7, 2016, in New York. The event offers a cash prize of 30,000 EUR and a right to participate in Immersion & Interaction Program in Spain. You can find the full list of finalists here.
