JFSA-logoThe Financial Services Agency of Japan ( JFSA ) announced that the authority established the the Global Financial Partnership Center ( GLOPAC ) on April 1st, 2016, as a successor organization of the Asian Financial Partnership Center ( AFPAC ) which was launched in April 2014.

The Global Financial Partnership Center is aimed at addressing the issues related to the global financial markets, effectively conducting financial sector technical assistance for infrastructure development, and further strengthening cooperative relationships with financial authorities around the world.

The Center plans to continue to offer a fellowship program while extending its global reach, and invites financial regulators and supervisors from around the world as Visiting Fellows. It also serves as a platform to conduct research on the issues related to the financial market and holds seminars and conferences.

In the situation that financial institutions have globally expanded their businesses, JFSA aims to strengthen and improve the global network and cooperation between financial authorities.
