We have seen much collaboration between banks and Fintech companies these years. Today SBI Sumishin Net Bank announced that the bank has started to offer new service connecting with MoneyForward’s service via API.

The API connection with MoneyForward is part of their business alliance announced on August 25, 2015. With this API connection, customers can get information about account balance and account activities under safer and more convenient environment for services MoneyForward provides. Due to API connection, users don’t need to tell their bank’s login ID and password to MoneyForward to obtain those information.

SBI Sumishin Net Bank adopted IBM API Connect and IBM DataPower Gateway provided by IBM Japan on the API connecting service.
